Why does the co-signer on my SELF loan have to be pre-qualified every year?
Your co-signer's status may have changed since the last time they were approved for the self loan. Therefore, their credit must be re-evaluated each year.

Who do I contact if my SELF loan master promissory note (mpn) won't print?
OHE prefers that you contact them directly if you have problems printing the MPN so that they can track errors within their system. They can be reached at 800-657-3866. Press option 2 for self loans.

How much SELF loan can I borrow?
The maximum Self loan is $6000 borrowed or outstanding per grade level. You may therefore be eligible to borrow up to $6000 as a freshman and an additional $6000 as a sophomore. Since LSC is a two-year school you can never be more than a second year student.

How will I know when the school has processed my SELF loan?
LSC will send you an e-mail to your LSC e-mail account stating the status of your self loan.
