The Minnesota Workforce System through the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 gives the unemployed and under employed an opportunity to train for jobs with grants.  These grants in some cases may be used in addition to financial aid such as the Pell Grant, Minnesota Grant, various loans and campus programs for classroom training in occupational programs designed to provide individuals with technical skills to perform a specific job.  They may help pay for tuition costs.  To apply you must contact your nearest Minnesota Workforce Center office to find out if you qualify.
