Ordean Foundation Grant

The Ordean Foundation provides scholarships for qualifying Duluth residents enrolled in one of the following medical programs. Please note that you must be enrolled in the technical portion of the program itself. Enrollment in pre-technical courses does not qualify:
 

Associate Degree Nursing
Dental Hygiene
Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Hemodialysis Patient Care Technician
Massage Therapy
Medical Assistant
Medical Laboratory Technician
Medical Secretary

Nursing Assistant (3 credit)
Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid 
Phlebotomy
Physical Therapist Assistant
Practical Nursing
Radiologic Technology
Respiratory Care Practitioner
Surgical Technology
 

Ordean Foundation Scholarships are also available for women in the following programs:
 
Building Construction
Commercial & Residential Wiring
 
The student must be a resident of one of the following areas and must have lived in that area for at least one year out of the past three years for purposes other than attending a postsecondary school:

The student's family income must be no more than the following:

First priority is given to independent students.  Please review the application for further details.
Students who qualify for an Ordean Grant may receive up to $1,000 per semester or the total cost of tuition, fees and books whichever is less.
