This course is mandatory for all new students at Lake Superior College.

This course will provide the tools necessary to transition into college life.  The program is designed to begin the day classes start and help you through your first semester.  It will be taught by an experienced faculty member who cares about your success.

Exemptions:  The following students may still opt to take this course, but are exempt from the mandatory requirements:

Students who are not seeking a degree or diploma

Students who are in a diploma program of fewer than 37 credits

Students in good academic standing who have earned 12 college credits (not CITS = College in the Schools) including an FYE course

Students in good academic standing who have earned 24 college credits (not CITS = College in the Schools)
