Meeting Minutes: September 10, 2003

Minutes:

A brief meeting took place primarily to determine future meeting times and to go over a couple of items.

1. Budget rollovers from the 2002/2003 academic year will take place soon. The total rollover amount will be $300,000. These rollovers will be added to your current year's budget (this will include plus or minus balances from last year).
2. There were a couple of requests to establish new cost centers and corresponding non-personnel budget amounts. Requests for new cost centers should be directed to the President's Cabinet. One of the new cost center's proposed was one to deal with the cost differential of LSC faculty utilizing tuition waivers at state universities. The difference between the state university tuition and LSC tuition is currently being charged to the individual faculty member's cost center.
3. There was an audit done at LSC by state staff. Contact Rick Halvorson for more specific details on this if desired.
